About Me

Hello to all that read this, my name is Lewis Farrell as you may have guessed from the blog name.

I am currently a University student studying at the University of Bolton in Games Art BA. I have an adept knowledge with using 3ds Max and Photoshop. I also have skill and knowledge in UDK, Unity, and Zbrush. I taught my self the basic of Maya through tutorials, although I am no profrssional at using it

I have been a gamer for as long as I can remember, I still recall the first game I ever played being Crash Bandicoot 2.  Since I was practically obsessed with video games as a child it had always been my dream to make games as well.  In high school I managed to find the opportunity at a Further Education Fayre to make that dream come true. Once I discovered that there are courses dedicated to making video games, I was sold.  I have always been an art lover, although I was no prodigal child when it came to 2d or fine art I always found enjoyment in drawing, doodling and sketching.  Thus I knew that a type of art solely based around video games was the place I wanted to be.

This blog shows my progress of my video game art as time has gone on. Some pieces will seem fairly mediocre compared to others because I set this blog up in college and was proud of the art I could produce back then. Assuming I actually keep on top of my work and stay up to date, this blog will soon be filled with much of my art work from past to present ranging from, 2d art to projects I start in my own free time.

So welcome and I hope you enjoy my portfolio 🙂
